After you and Dr. Cziraki determine that Invisalign® is the right choice, we will set out a specialized plan for your treatment. The plan will include a 3D scan of your teeth using computer imagining technology to create your tailored set of aligners. Every two weeks you will apply a new set of aligners in order to facilitate the process of slowly shifting your teeth towards the end goal. You will then return to Bayside Dental & Orthodontics every six weeks so the doctor can monitor your progress, and make little adjustments where needed.

Living with Invisalign® vs. Living with Braces

Your aligners are almost unnoticeable and completely removable, so you don’t have to alter your lifestyle one bit. It is recommended that you wear your aligners 20-22 hours a day, and only remove them to eat, drink, brush, or floss. Unlike braces, which can break from certain hard and sticky foods, you remove Invisalign® during your meals. This means you won’t be restricted to what you can eat or drink. Since they are removable, they are also incredibly easy to maintain and clean. Whereas braces require a great deal of time to clean, your aligners are easy to clean once removed, and allow you to brush and floss much more effectively.
