A good rule of thumb is if the sauce you are eating can stain a white tablecloth, then it can likely discolour your white tooth enamel as well.

Water is the best choice of beverage for keeping your teeth healthy and white. Numerous drinks, because of their dark colour, their acidity, or both, can strain your teeth and erode away the tooth enamel. This includes coffee, tea, wine, sugary soda, carbonated soda, and sports drinks. All types of tea, even white and green tea, contain chemicals known as tannins that can leave grey or yellowish stains. White wine, though it may be light in colour, actually tends to be more acidic than red white and can leave stains as well.
